I think a good first meeting is at Starbucks or a coffee house where good conversation and getting to know one another is always a good start to any meeting.
most likely my best idea would be a place where we can talk, without a lot of noise or distraction. meeting someone new deserves my utmost attention :)
I prefer to meet someplace quiet yet public, where we can talk and get to know each other. An hour is usually long enough for the first meeting. If there is mutual interest, we can agree to meet again.
A walk in the park with plenty of time to talk and enjoy each others company. Maybe a light lunch at a local restaurant. Or window shop and talk at local Mall. That way everything is light and no pressure.
